Boots had 3 for 2 on Soap and Glory....
So I wander into boots and after telling myself I didn't need anything I end up buying half the shop... as always. There was an offer on Soap and Glory products and I had only tried a few things before but had liked everything I had tried.. so why not buy three things to give them a go? I thought I should really buy things that claim to help oily skin and they offer a range of products with "poreshrink" technology.
Okay, so first of all I thought I'd give Peaches and Clean a go. I had heard a lot about this 'deep cleansing milk' and mostly everything had been very positive, so there was no harm in trying it out. Honestly, this smells DIVINE. I have no words that describe how nice this smells.. it is like crushing peaches on your face.. (except that would be horribly sticky, so it's not really like that at all..) I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and I haven't noticed a huge difference in my skin, but then again it does remove makeup, as it claims, and does feel very nice. With the added 'poreshrink' hopefully it will reduce the appearance of my pores (bane of my life..) if I keep using it. I will update on whether this actually happens or not.
The second product I picked up was The Greatest Scrub of All. I hadn't really heard anything about this facial exfoliator but I have been using it a few times a week and really love it. It has tiny tiny grains in it which when you massage them into the skin really feel like they are doing something. I feel like it has definitely made my skin feel smother and overall, I really like this.
I chose this Clear Here moisutriser purely because of all the claims it makes. It was calling to me.. "Tired of clogged pores, shine, spots and blotches?" Yes, yes I am. Then it says "T-zone oil control". Yes please. And with the added "poreshrink..smoothing and mattifying" I was a sucker for this product. I have very oily skin and this claims that you just leave 30 seconds before putting your makeup on and you will stay matte.. no I don't find that it keeps my skin matte ALL day but actually I think that it does make a difference. I am impressed. I will keep using it and hope that it does shrink my pores as promised.. but as for now they are still exactly the same..
