I have been a terrible blogger, I have been so busy with my new job all week that I just haven't had the time to stop and think about getting a post up.. I apologise profusely and will make more of an effort from now on.
Anyway, I popped down to my local charity shops recently and picked up a few bits, sorry the lighting is terrible in the photos, they were taken in the evening..
Jumper - Vintage £6.99 (bit expensive for a jumper, but I just had to have it..)
Skirt - Vintage £1.50 (sale)
Coat - Principles £9.99
Jar - Vintage £1.50
My mother has already told me that she will not be seen with me in the jumper because she hates it so much and that she is planning on burning it next time I leave the house without it.. I, on the other hand, love it. I know it is a bit garish and a little vile, but for some reason I just like it (I actually have an outfit post to put up later on this evening).
The skirt is another item hated by my mother... Yes, I will admit it is very 80s, not a look I go for often, but for some reason I just couldn't resist the £1.50 price tag and the elasticated waist (I really do think I am an old lady) for those lazy days..
The coat has already been featured in an outfit post and is definitely the best £9.99 I have spent in a very long time.. It is just gorgeous in my eyes with a very 1940s silhouette.
I bought the little jar/pot because it matches a vintage tea set I own and love, it is so pretty and I am a fool for anything with a bird print on it..
Now that I have a proper 'grown up' job, I will actually have money. I am thinking I might buy an investment piece with my first few weeks pay, but I am not 100% sure what yet, any ideas?
