This weekend was National Heritage weekend and yesterday (Saturday) I went to Mountstewart (in Northern Ireland where I live) with my friend and her parents. It was a beautifully sunny day and we had a lovely picnic of mars bar and apple sandwiches (sounds horrible, but, honestly, try them!) and 7up :)
This is me and my friend Ami. We looked like little old ladies on a day out. The dress I was wearing is from River Island (£10 in sale), the necklace is from Accessorise (£2 in sale), the cardigan was Ami's and was from Tesco, the shoes were also Ami's from Primark but she said I could keep them because they don't fit her properly :)
This is the house, it is really lovely inside (and it was free this weekend which was a bonus!)
The rooms are packed with lovely old things. I wouldn't know what to do with all that space if I had a house that huge..
Even though you were aloud to take photos, the lady in this room shouted at us for taking pictures of the books... I had already taken one so this photo makes me feel like a bit of a rebel.. sad, I know.
This door was so pretty, but there was nothing behind it, it was just for show. My hair was up in a messy bun, but it had started to fall out by this stage... My lipstick is shade 12 in the Kate Moss for Rimmel lipsticks
Blending into the scenery in my green outfit...
