So today I have had a lovely day out and about with my sister taking Humphrey to see a tourist attraction in Belfast!
I wanted him to have a nice afternoon because this morning he had his injection and was feeling a little sad (see picture...). He was feeling a little sorry for himself so to cheer him up we went on a little adventure and he made lots of human friends!
We went to a cafe near the Titanic Centre and sat outside. Humphrey sat on my knee or Molly's knee (my sister) and got a lot of attention! The best thing that happened was that a little girl who was scared of dogs came over and stroked his head! Her mum said that she was delighted because this might be the start of the process of getting over her fear! That was a nice "feel-good" moment.
We spent the rest of the afternoon just wandering around the area (with me carrying Humphrey because he is not supposed to be on walks for another few days yet) and just let Humphrey get a bit of fresh air. We then took a little drive up to Pets at Home to get Humphrey a little name tag for his collar which made me feel like he is a proper little dog now and not a teeny baby anymore! After his little day out he has been in a great mood, so happy and enjoying playing in the house with some new toys we got while at the shops.
