Glossybox | August 2015 | Mini Review

So, this month I am posting my photos of my Glossybox a little later than last because I thought it might be nice to do a little review of each product rather than just tell you what I got. Let me know which format you prefer for future months.

This month's box was a collection of products from around the world to celebrate Glossybox's fourth birthday.

MeMeMe Lipglide in Playful Peach (Full Size) - £6.95 www.mememecosmetics.com
I must admit, I haven't been using this lip crayon as much as I would like to because I loved the Lord and Berry one from last month's box so much. It is a lovely soft crayon with a gorgeous muted colour that I think will be lovely coming into the Autumn and the cooler weather (not that we really had warm summer weather here in Northern Ireland!)

Manna Kadar Lash Primer (full Size) - £14.55  www.mannakadarcosmetics.com
If I am honest I am not 100% convinced on this product. It made my lashes look lovely but throughout the day I just found that I was getting bits of mascara in my eyes as tiny bits flaked off. I will maybe try this a few more times then maybe I will pass it on to friends or family.

Emite Artist Colour Powder Blush (Full Size) - £20.59 www.emitemakeup.com
I have been using this blush/bronzer hybrid (or blunzer as they describe it)every day since I got this box and i must say I do love it. I thought it might be too dark for my complexion but I think it is great at contouring without trying. I just apply it high on my cheekbone sweeping back and it just lifts my face and adds a bit of colour. If, like me, you are at all heavy handed with blush you have to be so careful to tap off any excess product because it is extremely pigmented.

Naobay Calming Face Toner (Full Size) - £10.65 www.comprarcosmetica.es
I have been using this toner each night after removing my make-up just to ensure my skin is completely clean. It has no scent and I like that it is 99.13% natural. I have to say that I love the packaging of this product, the wooden lid is very satisfying and it looks lovely sitting out on display.

Sass Purifying Cleanser - £7 www.wearesass.com
This is the only product in the box that says it is not full size but when I looked in boots they sold this 100ml size in stores for £7 so I think it actually is full size. This is a feminine hygiene product and I have been using it in replace of my usual Femfresh. I was intrigued to try this brand (who have lots of products specifically for feminine hygiene. The best thing about this product is how classy and discreet the packaging is, you can feel proud having this sit on the side of your bath or shower!

All in all, I was really impressed with this month's box and was excited to receive a box full of full size products. I think I would have to say that the thing I have enjoyed the most has been the blush.

  1. This Glossybox sounds great. I used to be a regular subscriber to the Glossybox but I got a little bit bored of it all. I'm tempted to sign up again x

    1. Yeah I was pretty impressed with this box! Some haven't been as great as others but in general I've been happy enough.
